What happens when I arrive from a search engine?
When a visitor arrives on this site by following a link from a search engine, a small amount of visit data is sent to the operator's own analytics system on this domain: the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine and the text of any clicked outbound button. This information is used only to count page views and clicks on outbound buttons. It is not used for any other purpose. If a visitor does not arrive from a search engine, this collection does not happen.
What is stored in my browser, and for how long?
- Search-engine cookie: set only when a visitor arrives from a search engine. It holds nothing but the name of that search engine, lasts up to one hour, and is used solely to connect a later outbound-link click back to the search engine that brought the visitor here.
- Session view flag: a temporary marker kept only for the current browsing session, used to make sure a single page view is counted once rather than multiple times.
- Nothing else is stored: no other browser storage is set, and no persistent identifier is created or kept beyond these two items.
How does the site handle location and hosting?
This site is a set of static, self-contained pages served through a content delivery network. Fonts used on the pages are embedded locally, so no font files are pulled from an outside host. As part of standard request handling, the content delivery network reports the country the request came from, and nothing more precise than that. The network processes the technical details of every request in its role as the hosting provider, but no separate third-party analytics service is used, and no data is shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
What happens when I click an outbound link?
Outbound links on this site first pass through a path on this same domain before redirecting to the destination. Visit data collected on this domain is not shared with the destination at the point of that redirect. Once the redirect completes, the visitor's browser contacts the destination site directly, and that site keeps its own separate record of the visit under its own practices, which this page does not describe or control.
What this page does not do
This site has no forms, no third-party analytics, no external subresources loaded from other domains, and no contact channels. There is no login, registration or user account, and no names, e-mail addresses, payment details or other personal data are collected or stored. Because no personal detail is ever requested, this page does not need to ask for consent or set up an account system.
